This option is open to all educators and group leaders who wish to include alternative learning options within their usual programs.

M.A.G.E Manga Class Goals
We wish to make the MAGE Manga Course as fun and informative as possible. Students will be asked for feedback and in future, depending on demand, MAGE will further expand its course features.

The new MAGE Manga Class is limited to 8 persons per class so don't miss out! Because of this, MAGE will implement a first-come first-serve policy.

We currently accept group requests for classes to be conducted at given times. To be eligible, simply bring together at least 4 interested members and designate a group leader to approach us with your request. We will do our best to accommodate your times but kindly note that this is not always possible. So do make a list of other dates and times as well. We can conduct evening classes either once or twice a week. Please confirm with us prior to registration to ensure class availability. If the group is less than 8 persons, we will extend the invitation to other interested applicants to fill the class. After all, everyone's there to enjoy learning how to draw manga, right? ^_^

About the MAGE Manga Course:
The new MAGE course is more structured and the schedule will be set for 2 months per course cycle (except twice weekly classes where the course will end within a month) . Students will learn the basics of manga art and will be taught through worksheets and practical application of techniques. The schedule of topics taught is as follows:

Grading will be done after the end of each lesson and the marks returned during the following lesson. We believe this will give students a clearer idea of their strengths and weaknesses in each section. However, we hope that students do not take it too seriously as we will never fail anyone - unless of course, you didn't do the lesson. ^_^

SUPER BASICS COURSE [OPTIONAL]
Cost @ $45. Minimal Course Notes.

This is an optional course to further build upon the fundamentals taught in the Basic Level. It is an 6-hour course over 3 sessions to challenge the Basic student further. Some practicals include dynamic body postures, group and couple drawing & arrangement, further inking practice, simple referencing and any other suggested practicals the student wishes to improve upon.

This course offers a flexi-schedule whereby students may come in when they are able. Class times are currently fixed for every Sunday at 5.30pm. In addition, students may add Lesson Blocks to further develop their Advance skills before taking their test. Once you're done with this, you can prepare for the Project Course whereby you will be on your way to creating your very own manga!

SUPER ADVANCE COURSE [OPTIONAL]
Cost @ $45. Minimal Course Notes.
Designed to push the student to their limits with everything they have learnt. Work on improving inking, screentoning, character design, background design and general enhancement of one's work is the focus. Students can also begin the preliminary work on their Project Course and discuss storyboard ideas with the coordinator before embarking on the final stage - Project Level.

LESSON BLOCKS [3 sessions of 2 hours each]
COST @ $45
These lesson blocks can be purchased independent of the courses. They serve as timeslots for students to practise and refine their manga art skills. Students can also use this time to discuss with the instructor their concerns and develop their manga art. No specific timing is necessary although a booking call is appreciated to ensure there is no overcrowding in the classroom.

PROJECT LEVEL COURSE
[Course fees @ $100. Stationery costs will be charged to individual needs.]

The last stage whereby upon completion, you will walk away with your very own manga! Storyboarding, panelling and other techniques to telling your illustrated tale will be revealed as you progress to the goal. Details on this aspect of the course will be presented soon.
